JEN REED-LEWIS, MA
Jen Reed-Lewis is an Organization Development Consultant and President of West Coast Approach Consulting Inc. She has twenty years experience in both formal and informal leadership coaching and organization development consulting. Working in partnership with individuals, teams and organizational groups, she is passionate about being a catalyst and facilitator in helping people create and improve what is most meaningful for their development.
Drawing on her life long study of the behavioural sciences and whole-system change theory, Jen's coaching practice is mainly grounded in gestalt techniques. Complimenting her clients learning styles, she uses whole person perception tools to draw out new meaning and consequently new insights for clients to self-assess their blocks (challenges). These insights in turn create new pathways for the client to determine more appropriate measures for better growth and alignment to core values.
Prior to starting her own consulting firm, Jen was a senior organization development consultant at Clarica (Sun Life Assurance Company) and held various human resources leadership roles at Schneider Foods (Maple Leaf Foods). During these work experience she also held several leadership roles allowing her to directly apply organization development practices in the field. She has had operational leadership experience in Internal audit, key account management, and held a senior management role that was responsible for a strategic alliance between two insurance companies. Currently, she is working as a leadership coach and consultant to public, private and volunteer sector clients in health care, manufacturing, financial services and sport.
